George Bush Presidential Library and Museum

Just a few miles from the Manor Inn College Station, the George Bush Presidential Library and Museum is the place to come to learn all about the 41st President of the United States. Covering 90 acres on the campus of Texas A&M University, this top attraction is one of 12 libraries administered by the National Archives and Records Administration. Discover plenty of unique exhibits and memorabilia that you can explore at your own pace via a self-guide audio tour. You'll also be treated to a whole host of films, interactive videos, documents, photographs, and artifacts.

Hours -

Museum is open Monday-Saturday 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. & Sunday 12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. Closed Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day.

  • Is the library open to the public?

    Yes, the library at the George Bush Presidential Library and Museum is open to the public. More specifically, you'll be able to pay a visit to the library research reading room. It's open throughout the year Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The only time the library research reading room is closed is during all federal holidays.
  • What type of museum exhibits will I see?

    Discover a myriad of exhibits, some of which are interactive and all of which are educational. You'll see replicas of the Oval Office, White House Press Room, and the Camp David office that President Bush used. You can revisit the Gulf War in the Situation Room. There's also a special exhibit that highlights the work of First Lady Barbara Bush on the topics of AIDS and literacy.
